Can you give a guess if the opamps in this thing are DIP-8 or SMT packaging?

Is there a way to get to the bearing in this fan? mine started making noise, and I want to lubricate the bearing with some 3 in 1 oil, but I'm not sure if I can.

Your point about the SSDs sounds really important, but one it's not really clear without more visualisation or at least adding markers to the image.

Can one remove or open that "hatch" thingy next to the PCIe-Slots? Some cases have air holes there instead, which I prefer for a small case for the sake of the cramped graphics card. (Side mesh would be way better, but everyone bows down to the useless window trend.) And, something I've seen with another case, can one move the internal front coolers forward to be sort of in front of the case and directly behind the front mesh? This might improve fresh air inflow, but would also give more room inside.

I found a person on eBay selling Scythe fans and coolers at a very low price. I will be using a tower case with 2 120mm front, 1 120mm rear, and 1 120mm side fan mount, it's an older case. So, I have two older 3-pin Scythe Slipstream fans (800 rpm?) for the front and a Kaze Slim fan for the side. Those will be intakes. I will use the black 1200 RPM fan that comes with the Mugen 5 as a rear exhaust fan, and a pair of 1800 RPM Kaze II fans on the Mugen itself. The fans cost me $3 each for the Kaze II and Slim Kaze, and $4/pair for the Slipstreams. The Mugen 5 Rev C Black cost me $40 USD. Like I said, this person was selling Scythe stuff ^very^ cheap. I can't do this just yet becasue I am poor, and placed seperate orders a week apart, one for all trhe extra fans and one for the cooler. I have the fans, the cooler should arrive Monday, Aug. 12.

can you do a tutorial on how to get the plugin for NZXT Z3 liquid cooler to work with fan control? Brokenmass on github has the files for it but have no idea how to get it to work on fan control.

2024 and my ASROCK B365 phantom gamer 4 will not run 2666mhz GSKILL AEGIS ram at all. It ran this ram for 5 years total 64 gigs (4) 16gig ram sticks. As of July 2024 and a windows update my system will not run any memory module over 8gig of ram and 2 sticks in dual channel. System was freezing in windows all the time. I thought it was my 9th gen i9 9900k so I repasted it and then changed the AIO from a 2 fan to 3 fan larger cooler. Still would freeze in window. Finally I had to buy new Corsair 3200mhz Ram 8 gigs sticks. System runs stable for now and no freezing.

Those temps are crazy man. I'll stick to Montech king 95 pro.

First time pc builder, went with this case because I liked it and it was cheap. Built a 5600x and a 7900gre in there, turns out it's not a very good case for airflow :D After I upgrade the rock bottom motherboard I went with, I plan on doing something like this. Don't let me build a PC for you.

Just bought 1 and tested it on my R5 7500f played some games. The stock cooler kept it around 85 to 90 ish celcius while the Assassin X managed to kept it to 56 - 70 celcius. Never reached 71 celcius from what I've seen.

Great video especially because you have listed TC14PE in the charts, amazing. I think I'm gonna buy Phantom Spirit now and keep using TC14PE until I buy a 7800X3D/9800X3D build once the RTX 5080 is out.

Is there a vertical installation of the gpu?

Just bought it for 32 USD... decided to get another one. Noctua D15 is great in my other PC but price-to-performance just isn't there. I can get two ThermalRight for 65 USD or I can get two Noctua D15 for 300 USD :-/

Hi. Thanks for the great review, and for actually showing the backside inside of the case, unlike other reviewers. I'm really interested in this case, however I have a modular Corsair RM1200x Shift PSU that has the cables coming out the side, rather than the front of the unit - looking at your photo after the PSU is installed it doesn't look like there would be much room for any cables in that setup; is that HDD bay above where you put the PSU removable, or even possibly relocatable? I would like to take that bay out, and either move it - or leave it out assuming there would be room for 3 HDD's and a few SSD's stacked on the bottom.

My room temps are quite high i dont have an ac ( 30inside ), is it enough to cool my 7500f?

I tried to double the amount of ram by adding an additional 32 gb of ram. After installing the sticks, my P.C will not boot. I will go on and off for a few times, then will just sit doing nothing. Is there something else I need to do to my bios to make this work.

My temps are 20K more than yours for the hotspot and 10K more for the memory/edge temps. Maybe I should repaste it. Diff between hot spot and normal are 14K though, so from that perspective it looks good.

Mine is lagging bad bravo 15 B7E and idk what happen ? Before this happen my laptop go hot and things go lagging like usual but when i plug the charger everything when south

So what did the email say? Do they send the 1700 kit with it now? Or do you have to order it separately
